Description
This lemon garlic shrimp is a fast, flavorful dish made with juicy shrimp, fresh garlic, and bright lemon in a buttery sauce.
Ingredients
1 lb shrimp (450 g), peeled and deveined
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp butter (28 g)
1 tbsp olive oil (15 ml)
2 tbsp lemon juice (30 ml)
1 tsp lemon zest
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
Pinch red pepper flakes (optional)
2 tbsp parsley, chopped
Instructions
1. Pat shrimp dry and season with salt and pepper
2. Heat oil and butter in skillet over medium-high heat
3. Add garlic and cook 30 seconds
4. Add shrimp and cook 1–2 minutes per side
5. Add lemon juice, zest, and chili flakes
6. Toss and cook 30 seconds
7. Remove from heat and garnish with parsley
Notes
Do not overcook shrimp
Use fresh lemon juice for best flavor
Serve immediately for best texture
