Description
Creamy frozen yogurt berry bites filled with fresh mixed berries and a touch of sweetness. A healthy, refreshing summer snack with simple ingredients and no baking required.
Ingredients
1 cup Greek yogurt (240 g)
1 to 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup (15 to 30 g)
1 cup mixed berries, diced if large (150 g)
1 to 2 tbsp mini chocolate chips, optional (15 to 30 g)
Instructions
1. Stir the Greek yogurt and honey or maple syrup in a bowl until smooth and creamy.
2. Wash and dry the berries, then slice larger berries into small pieces.
3. Line a mini muffin tin or silicone mold, then spoon a small amount of yogurt into each cavity.
4. Add a few pieces of berries and optional mini chocolate chips to each cavity.
5. Top with a little more yogurt so each cavity is filled but not overflowing.
6. Freeze for 2 to 3 hours or until the bites are fully solid.
7. Pop the frozen yogurt berry bites out of the mold and enjoy straight from the freezer.
Notes
Use silicone molds for the easiest release.
Dry berries well after washing to avoid icy texture.
Store the frozen bites in an airtight container for up to 2 months.
Let the bites sit at room temperature for 1 to 2 minutes before serving if you prefer a softer texture.
