Ingredients
1½ lb boneless chicken thighs or breasts (680 g)
⅓ cup honey (113 g)
¼ cup soy sauce (60 ml)
4 cloves garlic minced
1 tbsp rice vinegar or lemon juice (15 ml)
1 tbsp cornstarch (8 g)
2 tbsp water (30 ml)
1 tbsp olive oil (15 ml)
½ tsp black pepper
2 tbsp sliced green onions
1 tsp sesame seeds
Instructions
1. Whisk honey soy sauce garlic and vinegar in a bowl
2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium high heat
3. Cook chicken 4 to 5 minutes per side until golden
4. Pour sauce into skillet and simmer 2 minutes
5. Mix cornstarch and water then add to skillet
6. Cook until sauce thickens into glaze
7. Turn chicken to coat evenly
8. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds and serve
Notes
Use chicken thighs for juicier results
Fresh garlic produces the best flavor
