Description

Thick, creamy, and naturally sweet, this 3 Ingredient Healthy Chocolate Milkshake (No Added Sugar) blends frozen ripe bananas, unsweetened cocoa powder, and milk into a frosty chocolate shake in under 5 minutes. No syrups, no sweeteners, no added sugar, just pure chocolate comfort you can sip.


Ingredients

2 medium ripe bananas, peeled, sliced, and frozen solid (about 240 g)

2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder (about 10 g)

3/4 to 1 cup unsweetened milk of choice, plus more as needed (180 to 240 ml)


Instructions

1. Add the frozen banana slices to a high-speed blender.

2. Add the cocoa powder.

3. Pour in 3/4 cup (180 ml) milk to start.

4. Blend on high 30 to 60 seconds until thick and silky, stopping to scrape down the sides if needed.

5. Adjust consistency by adding more milk 1 tbsp at a time (up to 1 cup total) and blending again.

6. Taste and blend 5 seconds more for extra smoothness, then pour and serve immediately.

Notes

Best texture comes from fully frozen bananas and a high-speed blender.

For the thickest, spoonable shake, use closer to 3/4 cup (180 ml) milk.

For a thinner, drinkable milkshake, blend in more milk gradually up to 1 cup (240 ml).

Use very ripe bananas with brown spots for maximum sweetness without added sugar.

Serve right away for peak creaminess. Leftovers can be refrigerated up to 24 hours and re-blended.
